Cornerstone Robotics (CSR) is dedicated to making advanced robotic technology accessible to patients from around the world and enabling them to benefit from the highest standards of care.
Founded in 2019, we assembled an international team of surgical robotics experts, clinical professionals, and experts from a diverse range of disciplines. To facilitate accelerated corporate growth, we established key innovation hubs in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Beijing, Shanghai, London, and Portsmouth (UK).
At CSR, we are committed to advancing healthcare through safe, efficient, and precise surgical robotics. Our mission is to empower surgeons, improve surgical outcomes, and make high-quality care more accessible around the world.
Developed entirely in-house, our endoscopic surgical system has successfully completed clinical trials in the Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong. Supported by state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and a robust supply chain across the China's Greater Bay Area and beyond, CSR continues to pioneer the development of next-generation surgical technologies — delivering safe, efficient, and accessible robotic solutions that empower surgeons and advance the future of healthcare worldwide.

Completed the Proof-of-Concept.

Successfully completed dozens of laboratory assessments on cadavers and animal models in Hong Kong.
2021
June
Surgical robot prototype successfully tested in porcine model in Shenzhen, China.
November
Completed Series B financing round of over USD 75 million.
The total amount of financing raised to date is approximately USD 120 million.
2022
June
Featured in the showcase of outstanding enterprises for the 25th Anniversary of the Hong Kong Handover and conducted technology demonstration for China's national leaders.

Completed the first human clinical trials in urology and general surgery in Hong Kong.

Completed Series B+ financing round of over US$90 million.

Successfully completed a multi-center human clinical trial.

Formed partnership with the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-SZ) Medical School to build a world-class surgical robotics training program.

Signed a tripartite strategic cooperation memorandum with the National Health Insurance Group of Singapore and the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine at Nanyang Technological University.
